Playtex Ventaire ?

I have been using the Playtex Ventaire bottles since we switched to formula for LO. My question is how often do you switch out the air vent disks? I obviously wash them after feeding but how often do you replace them, every 3 months? when they look worn? I looked on the package but it didnt say anything about how often to replace them. TIA :)

    I never replaced the disks, and DD used a bottle until 1 year.  Is that bad?!?!

    DD is 15m and still gets a bottle twice a day (mostly water) and I have never switched them. I don't see any reason you would need to unless they are not holding their seal or are getting funky looking. I do notice that they are somewhat cloudy now which I attribute to having fed BM in it. When I was BFing my LC said that was the reason my nipped shield turned cloudy too.

    I never replaced them and we used them for a year with BM and formula.
    Oct 2008 m/c #1 5 weeks, May 2009 m/c #2 4w5d. BFP 6/23/09 EDD 3/8/10!

    I haven't replaced ours, but I do boil them periodically.  Apparently you're supposed to boil the nips and vents weekly for "maintenance."  That's according to their instructions inside the box.  I usually get them boiled about once a month.
