I think it is a pretty old wives tale. My grandma told me to do it to LO when he was a newborn to help him get his days and nights alligned.

I remember my dad telling me that too. Only he said that if he had colic I could flip him over 3 times and it would cure it. I guess he was keeping that a secret from the rest of the world.

I don't think the article is that crazy, I have heard of this "trick" as an old wives tale but I guess the fact that they wrote an entire article about it is weird. I think it's funny
