I am trying Fenugreek to increase my tanking milk supply, and this stuff REALLY makes you reek of maple syrup. I did my workout this evening, and now the whole house smells like i-Hop.

Breakfast, anyone? lol

Let me know how it works out. My supply is also going downhill. I think I might just give in to formula, but I'm so mad that I won't hit my goal. Only 2 more months to go!

Also, have you tried switching your membranes lately? I just noticed tonight that mine aren't on there very tight anymore, so I'll be buying more while we're out and about this weekend.

I will definitely keep you all posted. My goal was 6 months, but I have already had to supplement a bit because I used all my freezer stash and I'm not making enough.

Oh well-- at least I am trying to do what I can.

Yes, I bought brand new membranes 2 months ago, so they should still be good.

I am taking Nature's Way Fenugreek seed capsules. They are 620mg each, and I take 6 a day.

I am taking Nature's Way Fenugreek seed capsules. They are 620mg each, and I take 6 a day.

Hmm..I have Solaray Fenugreek seed capsules-620 mg too. And I am taking 3 capsules 3X/day. Nothing. I got them at the health food store, too, so they should be a pretty good quality.

I had to start supplementing recently & I have started taking fenugreek, and just barely started noticing the smell myself. I asked DH if he minded sleeping next to a "short stack" lol

I took it because of my supply issues and it did help a little but mine were so bad it wasn't enough. I have a whole unopened bottle from GNC if you want me to send it to you!

I was told it can take up to 2 weeks for it to start working, so if I notice a good increase in supply, I will gladly take them off your hands.

I've only been taking them since Thursday.

Hahaha! That's hilarious! My DH usually spoons me at night, and last night he was like "I don't know if I can do it...your smell is making me hungry!" LOL

i was taking that much for a week and had no results. The LC told me to up thendose to 4 capsules, 4 x per day.Ive been doing that for a week and a half andnstill nothing.I think itnjust doesnt effect some people unfortunately. Maybe increase your dose for a week and see how that goes. Hopefully youll have better luck than I did.
