Adhesive crib rail covers

Has anyone used these?  I just bought some from BRU as DS is gnawing on his crib rail.  I was going to buy the fabric cover that you tie, but changed my mind and got these instead.  It says they're reusable, and I just want to make sure they don't damage the wood when removed.

    I didn't use them but a friend did. Her boys chewed through them so she had to take them off. But they were.extreme chewers.

    Are they the clear, rubber looking ones?

    I bought those when DD was a newborn and my nephew- the beaver- was coming.

    He was only here for a week, but it didn't chew through them and they are still holding up on the crib. I don't know about the damage, but they seem safe.

    Yes...I went ahead and put them on tonight.  I guess if their intent is to protect the crib from baby chompers, then they shouldn't pull off the paint when you take them off!  (Let's hope!)
