NBR: Work Lunch Vent

Today is our Thanksgiving Feast at work.  Normally it's Pot Luck, but this year we bought the stuff (already cooked) from a grocery store.

Our boss went to pick it up over 2 hours ago and it's STILL not ready.

I leave in 1 1/2 hours.  I may not get to have any  . . . and I'm STARVING!

    ugh, no idea. It wasn't cooked/heated when they went to pick it up.  We were supposed to eat 1 1/2 hours ago. 

    I should be in a Turkey coma danggit!!

    I would be threatening to eat my co-workers by now! I hope you got your lunch!

    Sorry about your lunch. Hope it gets there soon.

    Today we were invited to DD's DC to celebrate TG. We RSVP'd and invite listed all the yummy foods (roast chicken, corn, carrots, potatoes, etc). I showed up exactly at 11:30 and most of the parents were already there. DD was eating so I sat down w/ her. DH arrived 5mins later and he went to get a plate - it was KFC chicken, all the potatoes and corn were gone. I passed on the chicken and came home to eat.

    We finally ate at 1:30 . . . TWO hours later than we were supposed to.

    I work from 5:45am - 2:15pm so I had to scarf down my food and run.  I was starving.

    Wonder how our Christmas lunch party will go :-)
