Cincinnati Babies

You have to be joking, right??? This is almost funny.

So- I am still EBF at 4 months! YAY!!! And I got my IUD at 9 weeks PP to make sure we didn't have another fortunate surprise! And guess what I GOT TODAY???

A period.  I haven't had an actual period since Sept. 2009 so I am utterly- well- annoyed really!  Oh well! I wondered why I suddenly had pimples!

So JOY!

  • Congrats on the strong BFing:)  I also got mine back at 4 months with EBF.  I was surprised at that too.  You would think we would get more of a break huh.

  • OMG - I thought you were going to say you got a BFP today.  LOL.  My period came back that quickly too!  So dumb.

Way to go with the breast feeding!

  • I thought the same thing, you got a BFP!  In your case, I bet you're glad to see the alternative, right?  lol

  • It's so unfair, isn't it? I EBF'ed with both kids and AF returned at 10 weeks and 9.5 weeks. Total crap.

At least it was this surprise and not the other kind!

  • Actually it was this day last year I got my BFP with Calvin- so I was probably crying about now!!! :)

DH said if we get a BFP now there will be a lawsuit involved!  I would literally fall over and faint if I were to get pregnant right now.  I think two infants is all I can handle.

  • I got mine at 3 months while EBF so I feel your pain.  I was so mad because I had so enjoyed that hiatus from Aunt Flo. I got lucky in that it really didn't affect my supply and I was able to EBF for almost the entire first year.
  • I've always had to exclusively pump since Nolan was in the NICU & got my ppp ONLY 8 weeks to the day after his birth. I cried - so unfair!
