Bouncer seat recommendations

Any recommendations for a bouncer seat? DS isn't a huge fan of the swing and after his all night meltdown last night I'm willing to try anything! Thanks!

  • This is the second seat we bought.  He outgrew the FP Little Lamb seat early on, and this one goes up to 25lbs.  This is the FP Soothing Rocker (or something like that).

We had one like this. M didn't care for it. He loved his swing. My niece on the other hand, loved it.

  • We have the Graco swing/bouncer combo.  It's okay as a bouncer.  It actually works fairly well, but I think DS just doesn't "get" the bouncy function.  Are your swaddling your LO's arms before putting him into the swing?  Doing that helped us a lot, though DS didn't really love the swing until he was over 2m.

We have this one in a girl pattern. We like it. I wish it actually bounced though.

My mom bought one similar to this (it was by FP but it had an elephant on it) for her house, I love it more than the bouncer we had and the bouncer worked well (so well we used it into the ground until it broke!) for us. Next time I'm getting one of these first!

  • We used the Fisher Price vibrating bouncer. She LOVED it. It's pink and brown with birds. Sorry I can't link from my phone.

He hated having his arms swaddled. He loves to move his arms around so don't think that would help. The dr mentioned te vibrating being soothing so figured we'd give it a try!

We had an older, hand-me-down version of this one. We took it with us everywhere for two months because she was so.damn.happy in that thing.

  • We have the Bright Starts one that bounces on it's own.  She seems to like it okay.  I think she will enjoy it more once she starts kicking her legs with a purpose.

I *think* we have the same one.  Is it this one?

We've never even put the batteries in for it to vibrate.  But it's my #1 go-to place to stick DD when I need to put her down for awhile.  Another good thing?  It's only $30 at WalMart.  Smile

  • P.S. I'm pretty sure they have a more male-appropriate version, too.
