What are your weekend plans?

Since I'm sick we won't be going out and doing anything fun except maybe I will be lucky and get to see Breaking Dawn, but that's unlikely. We have someone coming over to our house tomorrow morning to spray the ceiling of our upstairs which will eventually be DH's and my new bedroom but things are going very slow! But once the ceiling is sprayed we can paint the walls and put the closet together so we can move up there. Then when that's done I can start on DS's nursery. But I can't help but be nervous b/c of how time is running out!!!

Last baby shower (thank goodness cause we're running out of room!) Hanging with my neice, SIL, and brother who are here visiting, they live 8hrs away. And after church Sunday we're having Thankgiving lunch with the congregation! Pretty small church so it ends up being really nice! Not sure how many "Ohh, you're eating for two" comments I'll have to endure but I sure do NOT eat for two.

DH comes home tonight!!!! Saturday I am throwing him a surprise birthday party. Sunday I teach Hebrew School and have we our Bradley class.

I am excited for my lesson this weekend. I am pretty proud of it. We are learning about the role and responsibilities of bystanders (cough I am looking at you Penn State).

Last baby shower (thank goodness cause we're running out of room!) Hanging with my neice, SIL, and brother who are here visiting, they live 8hrs away. And after church Sunday we're having Thankgiving lunch with the congregation! Pretty small church so it ends up being really nice! Not sure how many "Ohh, you're eating for two" comments I'll have to endure but I sure do NOT eat for two.

Whenever people tell me I'm eating (or should be) for 2 I tell them that I'm really only eating for like one and a half b/c DS isn't needing THAT many calories right now

(certainly not implying that he's not half a person, just that he needs less food than i do so i shouldn't stuff my face full of crap like they're suggesting!). And it's funny how if you're BFing you actually need more calories than you do when pregnant but you never hear people telling a nursing mom to eat more

Watching my DS' soccer game tomorrow. Then cleaning and making a pumpkin pie and pumpkin bars. Sunday I have a shower and am really looking forward to it.

This Holocaust quote from Pastor Martin Niemoller is something you probably use in your teachings somewhere but it is one that I think is relevant to your lesson this Sunday! It always sticks out in my mind.

Dinner will be whatever DH decides to pick up (since he doesn't cook and I'm on bed rest). Saturday DH will continue to pack up our house so we can get the carpet replaced. Sunday will be football.

Tonight we are just making dinner and then grocery shopping. Tomorrow we will probably go to starbucks to get the buy 1 get one free holiday drinks and we will take our dog out for a walk with the drinks. Other than that we may work on the nursery a little, but we don't have a ton left to do. Sunday is our last day of childbirth classes.

Tomorrow is cleaning and decorating for Christmas (before I'm too big & uncomfortable to do it).

Sunday is my last shower and I plan on then washing all the baby items and organizing the nursery.

Going to Franksgiving (thanksgiving dinner with our friends, it is the 4th annual) tomorrow which will be a lot of fun. Then hospital tour on Sunday (I am so excited!) then back to watch the Redskins v. Cowboys game! Cheering for the hometown Skins, but we have a history of disappointment so I may find something else to do if it gets too gruesome.

Saturday we have our usual madness. DD has swim lessons in the morning and gymnastics in the afternoon. While I am running around, DH is going to finish the nursery (hang blinds and curtains). I also need to go shopping for Thanksgiving food and some Christmas gifts.

Sunday, I am going to see Breaking Dawn with my BFF. So excited! Before that I need to clean my house since we are hosting Thanksgiving this year.

Working on my nursery! Finally got our furniture, so now I can put away everything. I received a ton of clothes from my girlfriend who had twin girls, so I may have too many clothes for her to ever wear!

Today I am going to hit the thrift store to find cute frames and I am going to paint them all violet and frame lots of little pictures of Paris, fashion, pandas, etc. All of my favorite things girlie:) Then I will make a photo collage on a large empty wall we have. Inspired by my favorite interior designer Kelly Wearstler.

Then I will fight the urge to go complete my registry. Not sure I want to wait for the 10% completion coupon. That may be cutting it close.

I heard if you change your due date on your registry they will send the coupon out earlier. Don't know how true that is though.

I'll be doing alot of cleaning because my mother wanted to host my baby shower at my house and it is next weekend. We are also putting up Christmas lights, painting the spare bathroom, and doing some grocery shopping for Thanksgiving. Oh, and my husbands buddy is coming over to work on my car. I also think we may be picking up the furniture for the nursery that my mom bought and tables and chairs to set up for the shower. It'll be a busy weekend, no rest for weary.

Well my exciting weekend consists of writing a paper on Mozart's life and compositions, working on scenic design project for Richard III and reading Diderot's The Nun. On the bright side, I will also be getting a laundry done and having a massage therapy session. Other than that...sleep because I'm trying to get rid of this ridiculous head cold that just won't go away. Oy. Thanksgiving can't come fast enough.

Last night we went and figured out which phones we are getting, but the sale is today so DH is going back to figure that out. He is also putting plastic on our windows because it got cold this week!

We have birth class all day today and tomorrow and I think I may be coming down with something so I am headed to the clinic this morning and will be staying far away from other people during class.

Other than that, I am sleeping. I feel awful, but unfortunately nothing else baby related is going to get done.

Baby shower (for a friend) on Sat morning. Sat. afternoon we are going to a play that my friends son is in. Sat. evening getting some work done and dinner with DH. And sunday we are going to Legoland.
