How am I gonna explain this one?

I'm sitting here trying to figure out how to explain to my husband the HUGE white mark on my front fender... From the carport that I park under every.single.day. Maybe tell him to look on the bright side since the carport's still standing? Blame my crappy driving skills on sleep deprivation and the screaming baby in the backseat? Any better ideas? Good thing DH is an easygoing guy and will probably just give me a look of pity and tell me to go have a glass of wine...

    Head to the auto parts store and ask for rubbing wax - you should be able to buff it out!!

    That's pretty much what I did, and DH just laughed when he saw it and told me he could buff it out. Just another reminder as to why I drive a 2002 Durango and not a new X5...

    I'd be just honest. And if your DH is an easy going guy he will forgive you anyways. But that is me, maybe the other ladies advices would work better for you. Good luck:)
