PW! I need gift ideas for BIL

My husband has a brother who lives about three hours away...we see him 2-3 times a year. DH and his brother are 18 months apart but not close at all and have virtually nothing in common.

He's 40 years old, single and lives alone, works in sales. His only hobby so far as I can tell is playing poker/gambling.  We've bought him poker-related gifts before so I'd rather not do that.

Our typical gift for him is a Best Buy gift card, but that idea is so stale and I'd rather do an actual gift this year.

Any ideas???

    Is he in outside sales?  My DH is and, when I'm making his list for my family since he's so freakin difficult ;), I'll do "travel" type things. 

    In years past he's received a monogrammed leather "diddy" bag (Pottery Barn, I think), a personalized leather padfolio, a nice travel mug. . . anything for the car or a hotel stay? 

    Oh, does he have satellite radio? A few years ago you could by the hardware for, like, $50, then each month it was only $10 or so for the subscription. . . the gift that keeps on giving :)

    Does he drink?  A nice bottle of wine and some cool wine glasses or good beer and beer glasses is always a nice gift in my book.  Or if he likes coffee you could do good coffee and some coffee mugs.

    Yes, outside sales. Those are good ideas...or maybe a nice, monogrammed leather business card holder. I doubt he would buy that for himself.

    He does drink beer, but he's strictly a Miller Lite guy. But I like the idea of glasses...I think PB does some that can be monogrammed. Thanks!
