Diapers: Pampers Swaddlers and Pampers Baby Dry
Wipes: Huggies Sensitive
This house will only use Pampers because I strongly feel they are the best, I decided this back when I was a nanny and used many different brands. These are the only ones I've found rarely ever leak. Naturally, we purchased a lot of Pampers wipes because that is all I'd ever used. Until we met Huggies wipes! Hate the diapers, but their wipes have to be the best! They are SO thick and the cucumber ones smell amazing but DS has eczema so we stick to sensitive! :-)
Re: 2x moms: What is your preferred diapers/wipes brand and why?
Target Up & Up for both (sensitive wipes) - they have worked by far the best for us. We started with swaddlers but switched to Target as soon as we ran out of what people had bought for us.
Never had any issues with leaking unless she was ready for the next size - maybe 4 total leaks in nearly 2 years, even wearing them for 12+ hours overnight.
I'm with you on the Pampers Swaddler and Baby Dry. My son ALWAYS had a problem with leaky diapers. When he was older he held his bladder until he went to bed, and after the first pee with other, there was so much the diaper would bust! Pampers never did, so I'll be sticking with Pampers this time for sure!
Wipes, I could personally care less. I went with the Walmart brand cheapies for this. Made no difference to me!
We go with Pampers .. they were the first kind someone purchased for us.. I started collecting the points.. and anytime we got another brand i found they leaked or cut DS...
as for wipes.. I dont' really have a preference.. i do like the kinda they offer at Cost-Co but haven't gotten them in forever since I don't have a membership anymore
I liked them mainly cause you could get a bunch at one.. they had that little plastic lid... and they weren't very expensive
Diapers: Huggies Snug-n-Dry
Wipes: Anything Huggies
We tried different brands and the Huggies snug-n-dry are the only ones that didnt leak with DS, we even tried Huggies little movers and they leaked with him. I have alot of friends that use pampers or store brand diapers and love them but we found the Huggies snug-n-dry worked best for us. the Huggies wipes are the thickest that I have found and we love them. We use them for not only DS but spills for us as well. They also work as a quick makeup remover!

We will be CDing with this LO but with DD we used disposables.
If cost weren't an issue: Diapers: Pamepers Swaddlers and Baby Dry
Wipes: Pampers- I like the pretty wipes containers for Huggies but I HATE their wipes
When cost was an issue: Diapers: Target Up and Up worked well
Wipes: The only ones I would use and liked were the Wal-Mart brand Sensitive wipes
Diapers: Cloth
Wipes: Seventh Generation.
We used Pampers Swaddlers for the first 6 weeks and they were great. After the whole dry max issue, I buy Up and Up if DS needs paper dipes. Unfortunately after a week without a washer and having to be in paper, DS has developed a rash. I just hope he doesn't need them again before PT. We used Up and Up sensitive wipes for a looooong time but SG are thicker and work better, IMO.
love is for every her, love is for every him, love is for everyone
This, exactly!
I won huggies free for a year with my first off the enjoy the ride thing, so my first has generally just been in huggies, but I hate them. Every now and then I buy the pampers and they are so nice :-) This new baby is getting Pampers!!!
For wipes my favorite are the pampers sensitive wipes. I have tired the costco brand, a few different types of huggies, a few different types of other pampers, and the target brand ones. The pampers senstive just are soft, work well, and don't have a strong smell to them like some of the others.
We use cloth now (although we use Huggies Overnights at night).
When DS was a newborn we used the Pampers Swaddlers. They worked great although they leaked out the top several times. haha. I hated the Huggies though, they ALWAYS leaked out the sides.
If we have to use disposables now we opt for either Luvs or Huggies. It's weird that I hated Huggies on a NB but much prefer them over Pampers for my older kiddo.
For wipes we swear by the Kirkland brand from Costco. Best wipes evah!!
We use Huggies. I babysit 2 other kids who use Pampers and they are ok, but defiantly not my favorite. They sag way too much...even without much pee!
I love Target up&up wipes, but used Pampers sensitive wipes for the first 18 months or so.
For us: Huggies and Huggies. Never had a single issue with leakage or rashes.
We are considering cloth diapering, but not 100% on board with it yet.
Diapers - Pampers Swaddlers then onto Baby Dry. We do us Huggies Overnights thought at night (obviously lol)
Wipes - I prefer Pampers but Kirkland brand at Costco are so much cheaper so we use those. although with a newborn I will buy the Pampers.
Diapers: Pampers Baby Dry
Wipes: Walmart brand.
Pampers swaddlers and Pampers sensitive wipes.
I'm going to try Target brand this time around though after hearing lots of good reviews about them.
I love Pampers diapers and Huggies wipes (we always use the Naturally Refreshing cucumber ones). I find Pampers wipes do a bad job of helping get DD's bottom dry and Huggies diapers aren't very absorbent.

We use the Costco brand. They work awesome! We used Pampers at first but once our stash was gone from my shower we switched. I actually like them better than Pampers because they keep him more dry. The wipes are great too.
If on vacation we don't bring enough diapers for the trip, we buy the Target Up & Up brand and really like those too!
Diapers: Pampers all the way!. Everything other brand we have tried has leaked (Huggies, Luvs, grocery brand that a friend raved about)
Wipes: Up&Up Sensitive Unscented. They work just fine, are gentle and the price can't be beat.
