    I was going to write a post about the same thing. I have several teachers to buy for. I think I'm going to give Target GCs to M's 3 main teachers. I'm not sure what to get for the other 3 teachers who he has more limited contact with. Maybe Target GCs in smaller denominations?

    I bought some medium-sized cookie tins at the dollar store and I'm going to fill them with cookies and candy. I'll write a note to each worker and give them cash in their envelop which will be tied to the tin with a ribbon. I would like doing giftcards but I have no idea what stores or restaurants the DCP's frequent. Also, I know at least one of the workers doesn't have a car so I don't want to give a giftcard to a store that she can't get to easily on the bus.

    2 of our 3 DCPs are Jewish, so we don't do "Christmas" gifts. we do New Year Celebration gifts! usually, it's cash and an edible treat and we bring them on the last day of DC before the end of the year.

    We do an ornament with a Visa or Amex gift card so they can use it like cash. There are 3 providers that spend equal time with DD.

    Can I ask a follow up question.  My DD is in a center and while there is one person who is most consistently the lead teacher, there are no less than 5 other teachers that are in the two rooms she switches between.  Am I expected to get gifts for all of them?
