I am having trouble finding underwear for 24 months or JUST 2 T.. My daycare is awesome and is really helping us w/ DD who is doing fantastic.. and she would like us to get at least 8 pairs of undewear for DD to wear at daycare.. but we can only find 2t-3t (in one size)
Anyone know if the cotton training pants by gerber are like underwear? Those are the only ones I can find even close.
I have a Target and a Kmart near by... thoughts?
Thanks in advance!!
Re: Size 24 month or 2 T underwear... need soon.. where to go?
Been there, done that. I feel your pain. On the upside, my DD just turned 2 and has been fully potty trained during the day since the end of August (and is night training herself at this point.) She is tiny so it was hell finding undies that fit. The "big box" stores had nothing.
The Gerber training pants (I was able to find 18-24mos on amazon) are ok. They are thicker than regular undies but if you don't tell DD the difference she won't know at this point. They also come up a lot higher so they may stick out of her pants but again, she may not care. The best brand I have been able to find is Green Dog, size XS. They sell them in packs of 5 and I found them at Macys (they are white w/ pastel trim, so they don't show under most clothes). Also, Gap Kids (not baby gap, bizarrely theirs are bigger) size xxs hipsters are really small too. The don't stay up quite as well on DD as the Green Dog brand but they work (I bought them before I found the Green Dog ones). Good luck!!!
Unless your DD is on the bigger size, skip Hanna Anderson. I bought several pairs there (again before I found the others) and I ended up takign them back. Even the smallest size literally fell off DD as she walked across the room. Plus, they are expensive.
The undies they sell at Target/Walmart/B3 etc are some Handy something brand (all the character ones). They run REALLY small! At least for boys they do. My LO is just in 2T pants but they 2T/3T undies were way too small! I had to buy 4T since he wanted Diego. Hanes fit him just fine at 2T/3T, as does the Gerber and Carters.
I think Carters also have smaller sizes, I did see 18 mos in their waterproof training pants.
