So last night dd1 was running around singing "Please on Earth"

I about died laughing.

Got any good ones to cheer us up?

  • She calls wedgies "crunchies."  We have no clue why!

She sings a good morning song at school and swears the words are "Good morning, good morning, doo-di-doo-di-doo" instead of "i'm fine, how are you" or something.  I don't know the real words because she is stuck on doodidoodidoo!

When she sings "Loo, loo, skip to the loo" she thinks it's "Loo, loo, skip to my room."  Of course she doesn't know what a loo is, so she filled in a word that are sense.  I didn't every have the creativity to even think that I didn't know what the heck a loo was when I was a kid!

  • Since my daughter started talking she's always had trouble saying "Let me" as in "Let me show you."  Instead, she says "Meh me"...cracks us up every time!

  • We are getting new tile floors installed.  DD refers to it as the puzzle floor - so she asks every night "Mommy can I walk on the puzzle"

  • The teachers must say this at school, but he walks around reciting, "zip it...lock it....put it...in your...pocket" (while make the motions of zipping his lips, locking it and putting an imaginary key in his pocket).  I hope it's not him they're saying this to all the time ;)

  • He doesn't do this anymore but he use to say "grape goose" instead of grape juice :-)))  He sounded so cute saying it too.  I almost wanted him to not learn to say it the right way because he sounded so cute saying it.

  • Lately DD has become so drama filled. Every time we scold her or tell her know, she says "I'm mad", "I'm upset" or "You hurt my feelings". We can't help but laugh at her.

She's also started announcing her bodily functions. We went on a little roadtrip last weekend and she would suddenly announce from the backseat "I pee'd", "I pooted" or "I burped". So ladylike!

Last, but not least she and I were playing the other day and I took something from her and she looked at me as seriously as you can imagine and said "I ought to knock your lights out!" I don't know where that came from, but I got so cracked up at her!

  • While cleaning up the floor today after lunch, I decided that it was easier to wipe the floor with a paper towel then try to use a broom(rice and french beans don't always sweep so well).  While on my hand and knees my DD says, "Ah, we do have a broom over there for that, Mom."  As she points to the corner of the room.  I had to explain to her that it was easier to do it this way.  She then said, "Ok I thought I would let you know where the broom was."  Thanks sweetie now can you help mommy up off the floor, hehe.

  • Anytime DD wants to say "I think", it comes out "I sink so". Like " I sink so I need another drink" or " I sink so I need to go potty".  I just love it!  Everytime she says it, it makes me giggle.

  • My DD says "I very do" instead of I really do.  It is so funny because she is so series sometimes.  Mommy, I very do want to watch a movie, I very, very do.  Mommy, I very do love you.  Awwww!!!

  • DS says "I love you mommy".  I'll respond, "I love you plus a million".  He responds "I love you more than a million- I love you plus 100."  I don't have the heart to tell him it's less than a million.

DH calls my daughter Allie-bear.  No reason but it stuck with him.   DS picked up on it and now thinks her name is Allie-bear.
