I've always loved fall/winter just so I can wear scarves. They have their own drawer in my dresser. Long ones, short ones, ruffly ones, knit ones, wool ones, fleece ones, multi-colored and solid ones. You have to get some kinda scarf
I'm totally in to the leggings and sweater dress look, also leggings, black shirt and some kind of fun fancy cardi. And of course boots, either ugg-types or tall boots, I have both and it's nice to make it more casual with uggs or fancier with heeled high boots.
If you are looking for tall boots and have trouble fitting your calves (I'm not saying that you will but I do- ha ha!!!) Lane Bryant is THE place to go for boots. They totally have boots that will zip over anyone's calves- I know for myself even though my calves are not really gigantor I cannot buy tall boots anywhere else. Even though I'm pretty much out of the Lane Bryant sizes now (WHOOO) I will forever go there for boots. Just an FYI.
I need much more information. For example where is she taking you shopping? Also, what do you feel comfortable in? Are there certain items you are in desperate need of? In case you can't tell I love your question. Also, it is only fair that you tell us what you end up getting when you're done shopping.
Re: Fashionistas! Whats your must haves
well..this is fun :-)
You need flat boots that you can wear to the park and still look put-together in. I have Teva's (grey) but I wanted mine for hiking and the park.
boot socks are certainly having a moment - tall enough to peek out over the top of the boot.
skinny jeans to tuck into said boot.
scarves are also having a moment.
have you seen this crazy awesome video?
also -here are some 10 must haves:
