I really created this post because i wanted to AW my upcoming annivesary weekend.
We are leaving for VA tomorrow morning. Our 6th wedding anniversary is tomorrow as well. So Sunday night we are staying in the hotel where our wedding reception was. My parents are keeping the kids.
I just booked a couples massage with a place that comes to our hotel room. And then we have a car picking us up and taking us downtown to dinner and bringing us back.
I am sitting in the waiting room right now for an ultrasound. I finally got to see Dr. L and she is being much more proactive in finding some answers on my bleeding. I am so relieved that I will finally know if this is something bad or not.

I hope you get some (GOOD) answers. Please keep us updated. I heart Dr. L.
Tomorrow is my bday and looking forward to a weekend of DH having the whole weekend off! We have dinner reservations tonight at Kings Inn, super excited to try it! And tomorrow there are a couple different things going on around town we are going to explore.

LOVE Dr. L! Glad she is being proactive!
We have our first Thanksgiving to go to this weekend with my side of the family. I love Thanksgiving food!
We had our 20 week anatomy scan yesterday. The tech was awesome, explaining everything to us, and sharing our happiness. Seeing all those little person parts and watching him (it's a boy!) squirm and turn and move was the most wonderful thing for my spirits. I've had 2 miscarriages, so getting to this mid-way point feels like a miracle to me, and makes me optimistic for a healthy full-term baby!
DH and I are both off today and so we're just enjoying being home with DS.
Tomorrow I'm going to the Christmas Affair with a friend.
Sunday, Nikison and I are going to take the kiddos to the Children's Museum. I kow the kids will love it. Anybody who's free is more than welcome to join us.
-DH is off this weekend and we're doing our mini babymoon. We're going to the Houston renaissance festival tomorrow then lounging around home Sunday. I can't wait!
-By tonight, I should be almost caught up on my homework. Not ahead but at least not behind.
-Found out this week that one of my best friends is PG.
-This is the first day all week that I haven't cried by this time of day. I'm thinking it's going to be a good day!

I am about to post my good news update on a diferent thread but I am super excited about tomorrow. I live for hosting parties and the Twilight one is one of my faves. Even though I have been ordered to take it easy I have some amazing friends, sister and husband who are all chipping in to help with the heavy lifting and making sure I dont over do it. Plus getting to see the movie is a bonus!
Sunday is our first thanksgiving with the season. We'll be spending it with MIL, SIL, SIL's bf and DH. I'm excited because I've never done the majority of the cooking for a holiday - and this is the first "real" holiday in our new house.
I'm also feeling great because DH and I have been talking a lot about our ttc plans and they seem to becoming together on the same page - finally!

I can't wait to see Twilight either. I think I must have reminded DH a thousand times already that I'll be gone all afternoon. And the house cleaners are coming today and I can't wait to get home and walk into my clean house.

OMG the kings inn... I used to drive by those billboards!
PS - if the city that starts with an R is the city your DH is coaching in - I remember them always having a good FB program. Of course, this was like, fifteen years ago.
And YellowUmbrella - hell yes, you deserve a treat.

Mine is that it's FRIDAY! Woot!
I read this as "mine is this Friday" and got all excited! Whoops!
So, there's this woman (IRL, she's not a nestie) whom I consider my nemesis. She is probably unaware I have designated her as such, and we do not interact. If she were aware of the imaginary competition I have created between us, she would likely think she's won. She's a terrible person, and I try to never think of her.
I happened to see a recent photo of her yesterday. Since then, I have been grinning like a fool about the fact that even though she is 10 (or more) years younger than me, and (I thought) an avid exerciser, I am thinner than her. So even though I am still 11 pounds heavier than I would like to be (or, uh, 13.4 pounds, after two dinners out this week), I feel like a weight loss champion. I am more motivated than ever to add an extra day of working out each week, and I actually did so yesterday despite feeling super cranky. (I felt way less cranky after my workout, which I knew I would. Lately after working out, I feel so good I want to sign up for extreme sports like warrior dashes or running.)

I'm going to be spending all Sunday with a bestie I haven't seen in a year and I can't wait.

A journey of building the dream.

My 2 hr glucose test is O-V-E-R and I celebrated not tossing my cookies by having lunch at Mandola's.
And all you 3-hr survivors, I'm impressed. I wanted to hurl about 30 minutes before they did the last blood draw.
