What commercials make you cry?

For me:

the Pampers commercial where they show all the different ways people get babies

and

the holiday Folgers commercial where the brother comes home from Africa and the sister makes the coffee, and tells him that HE'S her present this year.

I like that Pampers commercial too. The gmail one where the dad emails his daughter Sophie Lee gets me every time. Also those commercials where the babies are playing with their parents and the song playing goes "you are exactly one of a kind" make me tear up.

Oh! Definitely the one with the mom who comes home from overseas and her little girl is teaching her younger sister everything. "Momma says we brush our teeth like this..." etc. It is way too sweet.

Otherwise, just the animal shelter/humane society commercials so full of pathos I can barely think straight.

Publix puts out some during the holiday season that make me cry. All the ones mentioned so far usually do it too. I cry all the time.

Pretty much all of those make me cry. Sometimes I change the channel when I see the animal ones. My dog was a rescue and it makes me sad to think about how mean someone might have been to him.

Pretty much any Hallmark commercial.

But does anyone remember the one with the old man who can't read and it shows him riding the bus and working with a teacher to learn? There are several different shots of him practicing and it shows him on the bus with a kids book and a little girl is like "I have that book too!" and then there is a shot of him reading with the teacher and her saying how far he has come and how well he is reading. And the last scene is of him going home, getting a shoe box out from under his bed, and he pulls out years and years of Hallmark cards from his children that he could never read before and he starts reading them out loud to himself.

Oh God I'm crying just typing all that.

That one and the one with the couple finds out they are getting an adoption placement.

And there was one with sisters talking to their mom about marriage or something. I wish I could find that one again. I just remember bawling like a fuucking baby.

I'm crying just thinking about that one it gets me every single time.

I can't think of much that doesn't make me cry right now, and I have no clue why.
