Recommend your coffee pot?

DH's parents have a very old coffee pot and we want to get them a new one for Christmas.  They've been hanging onto this one because it's the only one they've ever had that doesn't drip when you pour.

So please recommend your coffee pot if it doesn't drip (and is not super expensive-I'm on a budget here!).  A keurig or something like that would not be good for them and the pot we have drips, so I can't buy that one.

TIA.

I know-I'd like to get one too, but the way our families go through coffee it would not be money well spent!

Bunn- they aren't super cheap but not over the top and they brew very quickly too. Great quality coffee pot.
Thanks Cassie-I will look into this!

  • Honestly the only coffee pot that I've ever had that didn't drip was the cheapest full-sized Coffeemate one that they make. All the the fancy-schmancy ones did. I don't know if you want to gift a $20 coffee pot though, hehe.

    Edited: So it makes sense.

We're giving some other gifts too, so a $20 coffee pot wouldn't be a bad addition!

honestly the best one I ever had was a freebie I got in college. It never leaked! My mom buys these fancy ones and they always leak. Every time.

Yes Perfect, then! My parents discovered the secret to the cheap coffee pot. I can still hear my dad cursing the coffee all over the counter on Sunday mornings with the expensive ones... ahhh memories.

This!  But before that we has a Cuisinart that grinded (ground?) up the beans. You can use a BBB 20% off coupon to help offset the cost.

This is exactly what I was going to say.  We had the Cuisinart before the almighty Keurig made it's way into our house.  I liked having fresh ground coffee.
