Anyone else see the OB/MW today?

I am guessing due to the time zone (it is almost 10:30 here) I am the first Smile

Everything looks good, baby is low, cervix is soft, but not dilated. Maybe the EPO is helping?

I go back on Nov 22, the day after my due date.

Anyone else seeing their doctor or midwife today that is at or very close to their due date?

I go today at 9:20 (it's 6 now, also can't sleep!). My due date is Thanksgiving and my OB didn't even set another appointment. Hope he knows something I don't!

Me! I go today at 11:15. Last week I was 3 cm dilated...so I'm anxious to see if I've made any progress.

I go today at 1:15. It's 7:45 right now. Last week I was 50% effaced and 3 cm dilated. I'm hoping for some progress. Next appt is Tuesday but I'm hoping she has other plans since Thanksgiving is coming up. I am getting very uncomfortable and anxious to meet my little girl!

:: raises hand :: Me! I'm getting ready to go soon. I have mine at 9:45 a.m. EST (I'm in PA). I'm hoping she comes up with a plan. My due date is tomorrow and she said she wanted to see me "because of the holiday coming up." Not sure what that means. I hope to leave there today with more answers than "stay on bedrest and we'll see." Sorry, but I'm done with this high BP/panic to NST/all okay. Now that I'm on bedrest I want this baby HERE so I am using my time effectively.

Let's check back in later and see how everyone did!

Oh...and I tried eggplant last night...apparently it's supposed to help induce. All it did was make me want to vomit and I was pretty much up all night with HORRIBLE heartburn and now I have kind of an upset stomach. FAIL.

Maybe it will start my contractions. Haha.

I go in at 12:45 todady to see if my blood pressure has gone down and to see if my test results are ok. I was just in Tuesday, but she's making sure everything is fine since my bp was up for my last two appointments and there was a trace of protein in my urine. Then I'll go back sometime next week for my 39 week appointment. I'm hoping all goes well today.

I go today at 10 AM. (It's 9 AM) Then again next Tuesday. My due date is the 28th... today is the first internal! I'm not holding my breath - I'm fairly certain this kid isn't going anywhere any time soon!

UPDATE: High, closed, firm, and every other adjective that can be used to say "NOT GONNA HAPPEN"

Something about the OP's post doesn't add up though. It was made 4 or so hours ago and it's not even almost 10:30 in Utah yet. It sure wasn't when this post was made. Hmmm...

I've got a NST in about 45 minutes and then my membranes are getting stripped again. I bled for awhile after they were stripped on wed, and I'm hoping I'm at least a bit more dilated than I was (only 1 cm).

I have been every day this week since Tuesday. NST Tues followed by a trip to L&D. They almost induced due to my fluids dropping over 50% in less than a week, but felt that I'm not favorable for an induction and could end up with a c-section. So we went back Wednesday for another NST with our bags packed...three hours later, we were sent home. Yesterday I saw my midwife and she said she thinks they will admit me today or Sunday and induce even if I'm not dilated...so I think we'll have a baby by Thanksgiving!

I did. Found out i'm 1 cm and have a thick cervix. I go back the 23 on my due date to see if i've advanced if not RCS

Ugh, so sorry about the vomiting. I love Eggplant but now it doesn't sound so good.

Hey, ladies! Back from my appointment. News is favorable. I am still on bedrest and I have an appointment again on Monday. I was checked again today and I have dilated another 0.5. Woo hoo. (sarcasm). I am now 1.5 cm and she said I was "soft." I guess that's a good sign? The plan is that we are going to go through the weekend - she said she "stretched me" when she was checking and wants to give me as much time as possible to go naturally. I respect that. On Monday, I have an NST and then an appointment.

She said that at that appointment on Monday, it will be "decision day." Sounds like I'll have my outside baby by the end of the week next week if not sooner! I'm excited.

How did everyone else's go?

I went in this morning. Not much has changed, I was "1 cm & soft" last Friday; today I was "1.5 cm & very very soft." I wasn't really expecting a huge difference, but I'm discouraged now Sad

I know FTMs usually go late, but I have hit my wall this week. I've have a fairly easy pregnancy, but these past 2 weeks have been terrible. I'm just done being uncomfortable. Although, if I could get some sleep maybe I'd feel different! *sigh* Enough venting for me..good luck ladies, maybe we'll get our outside babies SOON

Well I made it past the appointment today after BP scare and fun trip to L&D. I am a fingertip dilated, 80% effaced, and -1 station. Please baby hurry up and freaking come!

i just got back from the doctor, due tomorrow. still high and closed, but my cervix is soft. i go back on tuesday and then if no baby i'll sched an induction for the following week. look forward to meeting him, but figure he's on his own timetable so i'll just go w/ the flow until they tell me it's time to get him out!
