I need to come up with a list of about 15 items for DD to provide to DH's family. The more specific the better. Anything in the $20-40 range is ideal. She is a girly girl who adores baby dolls if that helps.
My daughter is insanely girly; no idea how that came about... I was never into princesses/makeup but she apparently is.
Walgreens has princess make up kits for $9. She got one for her birthday and loves it; she mostly just applies it to her brother right now...
We also got her the Graco side by side double stroller which is $23 or something at Toys R Us and she LOVES it. She brings it everywhere with her.
Her grandma gave her a tag reader with some princess books which she really enjoys. Very cool product; its not just to learn to read it has other stuff you can do too.
She got the Princess VTech laptop too which she seems to like.
We got her a Disney Princess viewmaster too- remember those things that you put up to your eyes (like binoculars) and you can see scenes and pictures through them? Fun, nostalgic gift.

DD is also very girly and loves her babies - she plays the most with the North American Bear Company Rosy Cheeks baby dolls, if you're looking for new babies, although if you're like us you probably already have too many. These are things she either plays with a lot already or that are going on her Christmas list:
Baby gear - stroller, high chair, folding crib (like a little PNP), baby carrier and potty (Baby Stella makes these and they also have cute baby dolls), basically any gear you would get for a real baby in miniature.
Tea set (she likes having tea parties with her babies)
Melissa and Doug grocery cart and all kinds of food sets. I wish we could get her a play kitchen right now (we don't have the space and move too often) but she finds ways to play with them regardless
Pinkalicious books. We have the core Pink/Purple/Gold/Silverlicious books and are picking up all the early reader type ones.
If You Give... book series (If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, etc.)
Groovy Girls dolls - she is really into Barbies and Disney princesses but she saw these at the toy store and liked them. They can change outfits but they're plush instead of plastic and don't have the whole overcommercialized/unrealistic body image thing that kind of skeeves me out
Games (Chutes and Ladders, Hungry Hungry Hippo, etc.)
DD born 10/10/07 * DS born 11/25/11 * #3 due 3/9/2015
Doodle bears, Lalaloopsy silly hair dolls, Tinkerbell's fairy ultimate house & fairies, Strawberry shortcake cafe with "all the friends", Cinderella's carriage with horse, a leapfrog explorer game, and rollar skates (I'm thinking the grow w/me fisher price ones).
My DD is 3.5 and has asked for two things: a power car (she's getting the Barbie Jeep) and some My Little Ponies. That's it!
Her birthday is two months after Christmas, so I have some ideas that I'll split between birthday and Christmas.
Also on my list of ideas for both:
A princess clock for her room Lion King DVD Maybe some books Crayola Activity Center Hungry Hungry Hippos game Maybe a set of Busy Bags or Kiwi Crates (from Plum District)

A Matchbox "Tow Mater", a car for her Calico Critters, and a board game like ants in the pants as she is finally getting the whole game thing and loves it

Some furniture sets that go with her loving family doll house
Disney princess DVDs
Olivia Car
Doodle Bear
Melissa & Doug Trunki suitcase
