What do you think of Anneliese for a girl?

It would be Anneliese June (June after DH's grandma's name)

    This name is with an "a" that sounds like "Ahh" - "Ah-nah-leese" :) 

    Thank you for letting me know that it doesn't sound like "Anally" though, that really got me worried. LOL

    I like Annaleigh or Annaliese myself. I never hear anally or anal ease when I thought of either name.

    I'm sorry but every time I hear the name Anneliese, I automatically think of The Exorcism of Emily Rose. The movie was based off the exorcism of Anneliese Michel from Germany in the 1970s (I think), which resulted in her death and led to a HUGE court case.

    That's just too negative a connotation for me. Sorry :-(

    LOL I have never heard that one, but I LOVE this name and wanted to use it. When I suggested it, my husband was like "you get a free turkey ANALEASE???" as if it was some big deal giveaway.... yeah... we are from the south....

    I had two sorority sisters named Annalise and they were both sweet, intelligent, and beautiful women, so I always think of them when I hear the name :)
