Just got this email & wanted to share it. This is a news clip about the dangers of uploading pics of our kids to the web from our phones. It's worth watching.
huh. i wonder if my phone is so old that i needed to enable the gps for pictures? or is it only pictures that are uploaded directly from the phone? thanks for sharing that. i found this site that has some more detailed instructions for how to check what kind of information your pictures might contain.
My husband said it's more of a concern w/ iPhone than Droid, which is what i have. I checked my settings & when I click on GPS it shows the warning that it could be a safety hazard. Either way it's good to check if you have GPS on your phone.
I went in to settings and turned off the gps on the camera when I bought it because someone warned me. I've tried testing my pictures to see if the location came be clicked and was unable to get locations. Thanks for posting this.
