poop a day?

My dd goes anywhere between 2-4 times a day. I am thinking this is a lot. I am thinking about bringing it up to her pedi the next time we are there.

She is really little too at only 21 lbs. We are still in size 3 diapers and is 18 months old.

I am not sure how concerned I should be.

They are normal, not runny or anything. In fact some are like balls (which I thought is constipation but that is not her case)

Most of the time she goes 1 or 2 times a day.Right now we're dealing with what we think is lactose intolerance so she's been going A LOT more often.

There was a time when she went 3-4 times a day and then she got a little older and it stopped.

usually twice a day- and she eats a lot of cheese, she loves it! I guess it doesn't constipate her! HAHA! DD poops in balls sometimes too.

DD is little too- size 4 diapers and 25 lbs at 23 months old- good things come in small packages.

Talk to the pedi just for some reassurance- but Im sure everything is fine.

She only poops once a day and is in size 3 diapers at 18 lbs. She has been in size 3's for probably 8 months.

When DD1 was that age, she was pooping at least 3 times a day, a lot of times more than that. Even now, at 2 1/2, she poops a lot and she is tiny (24 lbs at 31 months). DD2 is 15 months now, but she goes usually 2 to 3 times daily, and she is 21 lbs.

If you are concerned, then I would ask, but it seems pretty normal to me.

Yeah pooping has never been a problem for DD, she has probably 3-4 poops a day still. I always have to laugh at DD's doc appointments when they ask if she has any problems with constipation. I'm like no that's soo not a problem. I asked at her 15 month appointment and the doc said it was completely normal, part of it is DD has an obsession with whole grain stuff like breads, bages, nutrigrain bars etc. And DD is in between the 75-90% for weight so it's not slowing her growth down.

DS usually poops once a day. Sometimes 2, but it's rare.

2-3 up to 5 times a day, depending on what he eats the day before. TMI but I have 2-4 movements a day so I don't see it as abnormal. daycare seems to think its a lot, they've commentted on how he has 2-3 BM a day when he's there (he goes 2Xs a week) but I tell them thats normal for him.

My DS pooped 4-6 times a day from birth until 3 or so. Now he's PT and still goes 2-3 times a day most of the time.

I wouldn't worry. Some kids are just big poopers!

Grant poops a lot too. My husband has a fast metabolism so I think Grant's just on the same track. I wouldn't worry about it. Some kids go more/less than others.

My DD goes 1 time per day now, but I swear the entire month that she was 18 months, she crapped 3-4 times per day. It was so odd.. She went from pooping 1-2 times per day to 3-4- times, and now it's back to 1-2 times....usually 1.
