Don't usually ask for it, but this has been a crapper of a year for us (and in particular, DH). He's presently on the phone with a complaince/HR person at the corporate office of his employer to try to protect himself against retaliation from his boss. He's been sick (like legitimately sick...they had to take him to the ER during his shift this weekend), and his dr told him today he couldn't go back to work until they get everything stabilized. His boss got angry (at DH & directly at his dr). DH has seen stuff like this turn dirty with this boss before. In fact, the former CEO of this branch of the company just advised him to watch his back & call complaince b/c his boss would soon be looking for a way to get rid of him.
Anyway...dust for his work environment not to be absolute hell once he's back at work.
