RSVP ?

Lilly's party is on the 27th and on the Evite I put to "please RSVP by the 20th." There are still several people who havent RSVP'd and Im guessing they probably won't at all. If they dont RSVP by the 20th, would it be obnoxious to ask if they are coming? I would prefer to not address it at all but I dont want to be short on food or not have enough goodie bags for the kids.

    For me it would depend on how many people still need to RSVP. If it's just a few I'd make sure I had enough food and a few extra goodie bags. If it's enough to make a difference in food I would call.

    FWIW I would never be offended/weirded out/whatever if someone called me. I suck at sending RSVPs.

    I don't think it is obnoxious if you wait until after the 20th to call.  I have forgotten to RSVP before (it totally slipped my mind) and gotten a call and I didn't find it obnoxious.  If you started calling before the 20th then I might find it a little weird and obnoxious.

    I don't think it's obnoxious to ask, especially if it's just via FB (that's what I'm guessing since you said it's an Evite)

    PS- My DD's 3rd bday party is that same day!

    Um, that's how it works. If they don't RSVP, you reach out to them to find out if they're coming. NBD, and definitely not obnoxious

    If people don't RSVP, I always check in with them.  Usually time got away from them.  No one has ever been offended I asked- they usually apologize for not getting back to me.

    On Evite you can always see if the person has even viewed the invitation. Make sure they have even looked at it. Maybe it went to their spam folder...but yea, I'd wait til the 20th to say anything.
