Hi y'all,
I wanted to introduce myself. We live near Austin, TX and have a toddler who I stay home with. I was a pediatric speech therapist before I had my son, but since he was born, I've just done some work (non-speech therapy) from home for my company.
Got pregnant in September and 2 weeks ago we went in for my first u/s at 9 weeks and got the absolute shock of our lives when we saw two babies. I have absolutely no family history going back many hundreds of years! They are di/di (that's two sacs, two placentas, right? I'm trying to learn all of this!)
We are still processing a lot of emotions but feel really blessed. I am 6 feet tall and delivered my 9 1/2 pound son med-free so my perinatologist said that with my height, health and prior OB history, she expects me to "sail right through this" and I certainly hope that's the case! The babies are looking good so far- we have another u/s the week after Tgiving.
Anyway, I look forward to posting questions and learning from y'all because I certainly have a lot to learn!

Welcome, I don't think the shock ever wears off! I'm still amazed at what we have been blessed with!
I also didn't have any family history of multiples but here we are!
Congrats and welcome! I am fairly new here too, and this board has been awesome. We had no reason to suspect twins either, so it was a complete shock. (and still is!) I'm "only" 5'7", but I have a long torso and wide hips, so I am hoping those things work in my favor.
