What do you do when your LO wakes up from a nap or for the morning? Do you go and pick them up as soon as they wake up, or do you let them talk and play until they start getting upset?
I always let him lay in there as long as he's content. More me-time IMO. DH grabs him as soon as he makes a sound. Just curious what everyone else does.
Re: NCP: Baby Waking
It totally depends. She rarely, rarely wakes up happy and content. If she does I'll let her talk and babble to herself while I go to the bathroom, then I go get her.
Middle of the night wakings I can usually tell instantly if she will go back to sleep or not. If it's the later I swoop in immediately to feed her/calm her/do anything in my power to try to get her to sleep.
Naps I just go get her.
My child hates sleep and wakes up unhappy because she doesn't get enough of it. The only days she wakes up happy are when she manages to get 10+ hours a night. Which are few and far between.
