One set of grandparents (whom I'm not particularly close to) is flying into boston Thanksgiving weekend and we are going to meet up with them so they can meet the kids for the first time. They are definitely not 'kid people' so I'd like to find some place where the kids could play while the adults sit and chat. Something along the lines of the McDonalds with an indoor play space...but not McDonalds 
Any suggestions for a place in or around Boston?

In the city-
I really like the Science Museums discovery center for pre school and under. I would guess that thanksgiving weekend would be a good time to go since so many people will be away. Here is the link to the discovery center. They have a big water table, animals to check out, puzzles, different discovery areas ect. It is awesome. https://www.mos.org/discoverycenter/
When we go I usually only take E there and since I get in free as an educator we only pay for parking.
Mama and Me in Jamaica Plain- A little off the beaten path but looks like it is totally worth it.

Hmm if you let us know where you will be wouldn't it be funny if we "ran" into each other....Just saying the one in Watertown is only a few minutes from my house and I have been looking for a reason to check out Mama and Me!

I'll keep you posted on details but even if we dont hook up that weekend, we should definitely plan a GTG there soon...we would actually be able to talk while the kids played - could you imagine??
Mama and Me looks adorable too, but probably too young for Sprout - maybe i'll steal the girls away for a day!

A friend and I are considering doing the year pass there so we can go all winter. Let me know the details when you know we would love to see you if it works out. We must do a get together soon. Perhaps that would be a good place for a larger get together too.
