Trying to Get Pregnant

Ovulation vs Implantation pains

Can someone describe the differences between the two of these for me please?

Thanks!

Re: Ovulation vs Implantation pains

  • I don't have implantation pains, but my O pains feel like mild period cramps usually on my left side.

  • I never had implantation pains.  I do get O pain every month, though and it starts with mild cramping with about an hour of twinging/pinching low in the abdomen.

  • For me, they felt identical. Like sharp period cramps.

  • I think I cramped for about 4 weeks straight from O on when I got pregnant with DD.
  • For me, my ovulation pains are always very specific and sharp. the actual day of ovulatiion, I tend to get slight cramps that are more throughout my abdomen. With implantation, I thought they felt more like my period cramps and it was very obvious to me that it was not ovulation pain.

This was me to a T!

I get very sharp 'pinching' feeling when I ovulate and it only last a few hrs.  When I got pregnant with my son, I pretty much had cramps on and off from a few days after O until I found out I was pregnant and then beyond that as well!
