so today is day 6 of super heavy (red blood) flow. and this had never happened to me before so now im starting to freak out a bit. my af has never been this heavy for this long in my entire life.
my last cycle was the shortest its ever been (26 days - its usually 31-34) and now im having the longest, heaviest af ever. should i call my doctor? i feel like htere is no end in sight and im getting nervous...
EDITED TO ADD: I only had cramps the first day, as usual. I also just realized that my temps did not drop as much as they usually do. Currrently, my temp has yet to drop below coverline - and i usually go down to the 96 range, and Im still in the 97's...
any help?

This happened to me my last cylce. I usually get AF for 3-4 days, but last monthshe actually stuck around for 8 days. Real heavy for a couple days, light for a couple, then back to being heavy when I thought it should be done. I had been off BCPs for 4 months now but I think my body is still adjusting to being BC free.
I went off BCP in July but have had pretty regular periods since then. usually every 31-34 days, and bleeding 3-4 days and tapering off. never lasting as long as this. this cycle was the shortest ever at 26 days.
Im hoping its just my body regulating but i also know that this is not "normal" for me. Im also freeked out that my temps didnt drop as much as they usually do when AF comes. So im still running hot. Im gonna call my dr soon just waiting for them to open.
