I was not very happy there, I was exhausted. I had just come home from a few days in the hospital from preterm labor. I had to sit the entire time.
My favorite gift was a craddle my dad made for my LO. Although I did love all the books LO got, the swing (A life saver) and the baby book my mom gave me.
Food was breakfast quiche, biscuits and gravey, fruit. It was delightful.
Mine was a week before yours. But it was actually on the 14th last year.
Yes, I had one.
I loved that I was a big part in the decision making. My mom asked me about everything before she did anything. It was neat. I also loved that I was able to see all my family!
I was really excited to get the RNP. Probably my favorite gift. But I think we got almost everything off of our registry. I also really liked the quilt H got for LO from his great grandmother. A long time ago before she passed away she made quilts for all her grandchildren and a few great grand kids even though she had none at the time. This way they could all have a piece of her. He balled for about 15min. when he opened it.
We had cheesy potatoes because I begged for them. Subs, toco salad, potato salad a regular salad cookies, cake more I am sure but I can not remember. My mom is big on over doing how much food we need.
The games. I know most people dread playing games, but they were really fun.
My mom bought us our bath tub and filled it with various items... thermometer, washcloths, butt paste, etc. It was all small things, but that stuff adds up. In the end, it was worth like $300.
Honestly, all I remember was the cupcakes because they were so damn good. I think I ate like 5 of them
Did you have a baby shower? - Yes, I was given 3 showers. One from my mom, DH's family and my friend.
What did you love about it? The food and being surrounded by a lot of people. It was so fun talking to everyone because I hardly ever got to go out.
What was your favorite gift? The crib! My FIL bought it for us and it's been wonderful to use because we made it into a co-sleeper.
What food did they serve? My mom served a lot of Laos/Thai food. DH's family, we did traditional Thanksgiving dishes because it was around that time and my friend did burgers/hot dogs/chips/pasta salad.
(Me) 30 & (DH) 32 {Together 11 years - Married 04.17.15}
I had one with Aiden when I was 30 weeks. My 3 sisters and SIL threw it for me and I loved seeing all my Nebraska friends and family! My favorite gift was my Moby from my best friend. They served all desserts even though I had been diagnosed with GD for 6 weeks. So all I could eat was a cupcake and that was my lunch.

What did you love about it? All of the gifts - it was HUGE (my MIL invited wayyy to many of her posse) and so I got a lot of presents.
What was your favorite gift? I really can't pick just one - everyone was so generous. Maybe the nursery furniture...or my UppaBaby stroller....or the video monitor.
What food did they serve? It was at an Italian restaurant - salad, pasta, chicken, cake
