    All I could think was "Don't tampons expand when you add liquid?  Wouldn't that hurt if you were using bigger tampons?  How drunk can you get off of a regular sized tampon?"

    None of those are pertinent questions.

    The skin cells in the anus and vagina are very thin and like stated earlier, it could have a fatal effect. I'll let you just read it through this link. Essentially this guy had an alcohol enema and the alcohol was absorbed faster and he died of alcohol poisoning

    Saw it several times in the ER. Unresponsive from school = body cavity search. Boys do it too. One had to have the tampon surgically removed because it went too far in and we couldn't get it out.

    Unless I'm mistaken, I'm really sure she didn't. I've seen that entire series more times than I even know.

    Also, I thought about the tampons expanding but they showed them being soaked while still in the applicators, so I guess that's how.

    Except they are wrong, because the Breathalyzer measures blood concentrations levels - even if they didn't drink it. It just means that they won't/can't puke it up, warning them that they are getting alcohol poisoning.

    There was a CSI episode about vodka soaked tampons. That just seems like it would burn.

    The alcohol is absorbed faster and the effects are greater in magnitute and last longer.

    Nope. It estimates what the blood alcohol concentration is based on the amount of ethanol in the breath sample.
