Daycare/Nanny recommendations? Waldo/Prairie Village/Plaza

I'm currently looking for full time child-care for a 3 month old infant starting May 2012.  I would prefer an in-home sitter but am also open to in-home daycares and traditional daycares too.

I live in Waldo but work at KU Med Center so anything in waldo/brookside/plaza/prairie village and possibly some kck options would work.  Thanks!

  • I have a Waldo friend who takes her 1 yo daughter to Rainbow School off 80th and Holmes (I believe.)  She toured other places and tried 1-2 others before she found them, really likes them she says.  We live in Waldo too, but do in-home w/ a friend part time and the other 1/2 of the day our daughter (almost 3) goes to Monarch Montessori. When you're ready for school, it's a FABULOUS option and very close (75th/Belinder.) :)

  • Rainbow is so awesome! I LOVE it! However, it is not full time. It is a PDO, only 930-215.

I have a friend Sheri who does in home day care and she is awesome. Let me know if you want her info. She is in the Brookside area.
