"My Gym" did you like it?

Hi ladies!

I was wondering if anyone has done a mommy and me class at My Gym? Did you like it? My lil one is 4.5 almost 5months old and I'm wondering if it's worth it.

    No.  I bought a groupon for maybe 6 visits...I only went twice.  It just grosses me out in there....and didn't want my son exposed to the germs (I first took him around 5-6 months)...the one I went to in Coral Springs didn't seem very clean.  I would much rather have play dates w/friends and their babies.  A Latte Fun in Coral Springs seemed cleaner and we have been a couple times.

    I love My Gym for older kids.We did her 3rd bday at a My Gym. It seems pointless until they can at least crawl, even better when they can run and climb.

    The coral springs one just moved locations like this week so the cleanliness issue might not be such a big issue anymore. I didn't think the place was bad though but I only did one class. Personally I did not like the class. My son is 11 months old and I found the class to be all over the place. One minute it was circle time...then ok kids go play, the back to circle time, etc etc. I think Sebastian was just confused by the whole thing- "Am I gonna go play or am I gonna go sit in a circle?"

     

    I would recommend doing Gymboree if you have one near you or Kimdermusik. But since your LO is still young the abrupt changes in the My Gym class might not be such a big deal..might as well do the free class!

    I second this.  We did Little Gym starting at 13 months, and I don't know that it would have been worth it before she could walk.  I would stick to a music class at either Nova or Kindermusic.
