I had my annual today and it turns out I have a really bad UTI...with absolutely no symptoms - no fever, no pain, nada. Who knew that could happen?! I'm on antibiotics and hopefully all my strange symptoms will start to go away now.
The good news...we talked about a VBAC today [for a future baby, we are NOT TTC yet!] and she's 150% supportive of it. She says I'm a fantastic candidate, she'll even let me go to 42 weeks to try to go into labor on my own, is supportive of me laboring however I need to in order to keep things progressing and said she's even comfortable giving a little pitocin if needed to help labor along if it stalls. I'm so, so excited about this - it sounds like I have a great chance and I'm glad she's super supportive. The other doctor I talked to about it in the practice was "supportive" of VBACs, but had so many restrictions on them that it seemed almost impossible to have a successful VBAC. She even said that of her patients, 75-80% who attempt a VBAC have a successful outcome. Which is awesome!!
