Was it a gradual process (over the course of several weeks) did it happen quickly (over a period of a week), or was it all of a sudden (3 hr stretches one day and then all through the night the next day)?

Re: If your LO sleeps ALL the way through the night, please come in
It sort of happened over time for us... DD started sleeping 4-5 hour stretches at night at 5 weeks. At 6 weeks she was going 6-8 hours and then by 10 weeks she was going 9-11 hours at night. Once she started sleeping longer we hardly had any regressions in her sleep pattern, so it wasn't a lot of back and forth with her.
For the past week, she's been pretty consistent - bedtime routine starts between 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. and lasts about 45 minutes from start to finish (bath, massage, PJ's, bottle, bed) and then she sleeps until around 7 or 8 a.m.
It happened all of a sudden for me. One night she was waking up every 3 hours to eat, and we had trouble getting her back to sleep. The next night she woke up every 3-4 hours and went right back to sleep after her feeding. Then the very next night she slept 8 hours, and it has increased ever since then. She gave us 8, then 9, then 10, and now she has been sleeping for 11 hours religiously for about a month now. Love it!
