Sex after RCS?

I pushed for 2 hrs with my son b4 being taken in for a c/s. I also breastfeed him. I remember after the c/s it being so painful to have sex with DH. I am just wondering if after a RCS it will be the same? If so, any advice?

    It was pretty painful for me. I think BFing had a lot to do with it. I did not do any pushing although I labored for a while before my c/s.

    My repeat-c was awesome. I labored for over 24 hours with DS1 and ended up having to have a c/s. Going in for a scheduled one is so much easier on your body. I would say that the painful sex has little to do with breastfeeding (aside from it causing dryness, which does suck) and more to do with a hesitation that you (a general "you") *think* it may hurt. Make sure to keep some lubricant around is the best advice I can give.

    I had no problems with sex after my 2nd c/s. With my first, I labored for 8hrs and had to have an emergency c/s. I had issues with dryness and nerves after that. I think it had to do with the fact that I was scared to death of getting pregnant again. I breastfed my first and am still currently breastfeeding on top of being 7ish weeks pregnant(waiting on my first prenatal visit in two weeks) but no problems in the sex department.
