How's everyone this morning? I just survived my first Menopur shot! I did feel the burn everyone described but I was squeezing my skin so tightly that I didn't really feel it. It's amazing how much I could feel the difference between my 27g (menopur) needle and 31g (lupron) needle. I had a terrible headache all day yesterday after my first lupron injection so I'm hoping I can avoid that today.
I gave you life, then you gave me mine.

Re: **Cranberries Check In**
I felt the menopur burn last time I used it with IUI. But so far, no burn this time.
I had my CD3 visit this morning. Still waiting on bw results. They saw 8-10 follicles. I was hoping for better but I know it's early so we'll see.

Eek! How does that happen? I get little round bruises, but that's about it... maybe the extra few pounds I put on recently helps.
Hiccup
Burp
Had my second E2 bloodtest today. Also had an ultrasound to check on my foolies. Right ovary is a total slacker with 3 follies, left ovary is kicking some butt though, but not as much as I'd personally hope.
Started Ganirelix, which didn't bother me too much until after, had some soreness and redness at the injection site.
So I'm on 3 shots a day right now, Follistim, Menopur and Ganirelix. Adding Omnitrope tomorrow.
Next appointment Friday (our anniversary too), another bloodtest and ultrasound.
Looks like we're still on for Thanksgiving Day ER. !
Converted to IUI only had 1 follie
Don't worry. It is actually easier than you'd guess. The training we had was pretty simple, and while we were nervous on day 1, it went well. You'll do great!

Well...we are officially on for a few more days of stims
I was so excited that our potential due date was our anniversary, but we have a couple follies that are close to the line so we might as well hold out to let them grow.
As for me, I am dying from the Ganirelix, but otherwise doing ok. We are going to have to order more meds, which bites...but the Dr. gave us a few extra vials of Menopur to help cut the amount down. Have I mentioned I love my Dr.?
Anyone have any exciting plans for the weekend? (Yes, I know it is Wednesday...a girl can dream.)

I won't lie, it is overwhelming. But just take it one medicine at a time, one injection at a time. The more information I get, the more prepared I feel.
I had my baseline today. Everything looks good. She said my antral follie count was in the normal/average range. So I am on track to start stims on Saturday!
First of all, I LOVE the group name!! I can't check the message board at work, but I sometimes go on my phone and I couldn't wait to come home to read everyones updates!
My last BCP was Monday, and I will be going in for monitoring Friday morning and hope to be starting stims Friday night! I've been on Lupron for a week now and will say, I feel so overally bloated and have been having very weird dreams (although I won't complain about the one with George Clooney!). Otherwise, all ok and can't wait to start the next step.
Good luck to all of us Cranberries!!! One last thing, how do I include the cute cranberries picture in my siggy?

Gave birth to boy/girl twins in September 2012!!!
Had my ultrasound and blood work this morning and my cyst is gone
and will be starting Follistim, Menopur and a ZPack this Saturday! I was also told to take children's aspirin everyday but since aspirin gives me nose bleeds my Doc said not to take it, then i find out it helps with implantation so now i'm worried. Is anyone else taking aspirin?
All my meds showed up today and hubby put everything in the fridge because he was confused lol i hope that didn't screw anything up. I think the Follistim and Menopur can be room temp from what it says, is that correct??

I'm a little late, but I'm here!!
I started Lupron on Monday.. Overall I just feel strange! Not bad, just kinda off and definitely a little forgetful, which is weird. DH has been giving me the injections every am.. They aren't too bad! I stop bc on 11/20 and call my doc's office when my period starts after that and then I start Follistim. Can't believe all of this is actually happening!!
Love the name cranberries! Good luck to everyone!
Sorry I'm so late to the check in. I can't get on the site at work anymore. I read the posts throughout the day on my phone, but still haven't figured out a way to post from my Android phone. (Any suggestions?)
Glad to hear everyone is doing well so far. All the meds and injections is incredibily overwhelming. My trick to not getting too overwhelmed is to sort out my meds by injection day. So each day I put the vials, needles, alcohol, etc in a baggie for that day. That way I don't have to sort through everything at the time of injection. Looking at it one shot at a time seems to help me.
Ready to start stims in the morning!! So excited!
