I was hoping to be taken off bedrest at my appt Monday. I have been on it since 31 weeks....instead, with a 160/100 BP unexpectedly, I was sent to L&D and, after 6 hours, sent home on meds and on strict bedrest with no doing anything until I deliver.
I've been working from home still so that is how I spend my days and my husband (luckily my dad was in town from WI this week) and dad have been managing our three kids this week. I don't know how it will work when he leaves tomorrow and DH has his two long work days on friday/saturday.

Hello! I'm about 1/2 way through my 5th week of bedrest, with 4.5 left to go till my csection. I have a friend who comes over once a week to have a movie day, and my boss and coworker came over to eat their lunch with me yesterday. I love being kept in the loop : ) I am going to start working on Finley's baby book today. I ordered pictures from my shower to be delivered and they should be here next week, but I can start filling out as much as possible. We've also bought all of DS's Christmas and birthday gifts so I can wrap them now too. I would love to hear new ideas to keep busy!
Our wonderful baby boy, Kellen, was born on 12/27/07
I got upgraded to light activity (I love all the vague terms) last Friday so I'm really enjoying being able to get up a bit more and not having DH freak out about how many times I've been up and down the stairs in a day! 2.5 weeks to go until I can go back to normal activity!
Besides working on finishing my MA, I finished knitting a baby blanket. My next project is to make a baby hat. I've also done a lot of reading- I figure it will be a lot harder to get through a book once LO is here so I'm getting in as much as possible. I'm really procrastinating finishing writing my papers because I've heard so many people tell me that once they finished all their work, they went into labor soon after. OWT? Probably. But I'll take whatever I can get, because I am not ready for this baby to come yet.

I'm done with the Procardia but still on bed rest until Friday. The highlight of my day is The Price is Right. I know I sound like an old lady for saying that.
I have been upgraded to I can walk around a little more... Still having the BH contractions but everything is closed and looks good... I might even return to work just to work for 5 weeks... I am getting so bored I am going to clean the entire house... Plus LO's clothes have been folded and arranged by months.... :P
Re: Bed Rest
Any new ideas to keep busy?
Good question! I'm interested to see other people's answers because honestly, I'm starting to go a little stir crazy.
