Emotions are insane right now, and not just because of the hormones.
We had a son on 9/15/11 who passed away. We knew he wasn't going to live for about a week before delivery, which was natural - we waited until my water broke. He had a genetic condition that has a 10-15% chance of repeating itself in future babies.
A month later, we became pregnant again. Just found out a week ago.
We aren't sure how to be. We are excited, but we are terrified of what could happen. Just two months ago, my son died in my arms. I'm so thankful for this new little miracle growing in what was Benjamin's home for 9 months, but I'm so afraid to just let go and be content.
We'll be going in for a CVS around mid-to-late December and get the results in early January. Please keep us in your thoughts...

I am so, so sorry for your loss. I have a dear friend whose son died at birth due to meconium aspiration. She got involved with H.A.N.D. and is now our regions chair. You might look into a local help group. I think H.A.N.D. is a CA group. They are absolutely wonderful ladies who have been through infant loss and are very supportive of other Mothers. Here is their website in case you are interested:

My prayers are with you, your family and Baby Benjamin.
BTW my friend delivered a beautiful, healthy boy last June, 1 year and 2 weeks after the loss of their son.
