E is a goofball and cracks up all the time over random things. I will do something one day and she will think it's hilarious and the next day I try the same thing and she's like *yawn*...nice try mom.
What makes your baby laugh? Does it work all the time?
Past giggles:
raspberries on the belly
the word "momma"
wiggling her pjs in front of her face
Re: What makes your baby giggle?
Same here! Some days I'm a comedian and others she just stares at me like I'm an idiot.
Usually if I'm on the floor with her on my tummy, I can pop my head up and say "BOO!" while I bounce her with my hands and I will get a laugh.
My husband.
He only gets 2 hours a day with LO by the time he gets home from work,so he plays hard with him. Now LO associates H with play. He always gets a huge smile on his face & giggles when H enters the room. Even if he just passes through, 20 feet away.
Also when he sees the cats face.
Cece has already started. I was showered in squash the other night. Nice! haha.
DS did that yesterday! I was sprayed right in the face lol.
Giggles, currently, any time I lift him up and say a rhyme we learned at Story Time "up, up, in the sky like this, down, down, down for a great big kiss" so the going up and down cracks him up! Also, if I say anything with a super high pitch voice while making a silly face, like sometimes I'll say "oh my goodness" but if I repeat it a couple times the laugh only gets louder. And sometimes I have no idea what he's laughing at, he's just in the mood, he forces a laugh and all I have to do is look at him
My Blog: Naturally Mindful
This! DS can be crying and fussing all day, and I'm worn down by the time DH walks in. Then it's all smiles and I look like a crazy person for being exhausted with a giggling bouncing baby.
DS loves loves loves the dog. She doesn't even have to be doing anything. One time she was asleep and he was cracking up looking at her.
He also loves being lifted up in the air. We do "The grand old Duke of York" and other songs that involve high bouncing. It's great for me too: lifting up 16 lbs repeatedly in the air is giving me nice arms.
My LO is VERY ticklish, so if he is in a remotely good mood, any light brushing of his belly, ribs, or under his chin elicits total belly laughs. Changing his clothes is tons of fun -- as soon as I unbutton his onesie and guide my hand up to take his arm out of the sleeve, the giggles start!
Other random things -- the dog is good for a few giggles every day. Yesterday I was eating a banana while holding LO on my hip and he was belly laughing at me eating. Also singing the song (with actions of course) "If you're happy and you know it clap your hands (or stomp your feet)" -- We get snorts out of that one :-)
I have smiles galore, but a laugh is much harder to get. Usually Dh gets them the most. I guess Im here for all the hardwork and DH gets all the glory! He did find it hysterical that I was coughing one day.
My husband sneezes really loud and it never fails that she starts crying hysterically every time he does it near her, lol. Scares the crap out of her....haha

I have new ones to add:
Blowing air in her face (or waving a blanket for a breeze)
Bouncing a stuffed animal on her lap
She is starting to find everything hilarious, I love the sound of her giggles! And now she is rambling nonstop "dadadadada"

He loves "catch the ball." I throw a colorful ball or stuffed animal in the air, catch it and shake it, and yell "catch the ball!" He freaks out laughing every time.
(BTW, his daycare teachers showed us that trick. Before catch the ball, we were soooo unfunny to him).
