1 year old stats-Off the charts

My LO's head is off the freaking charts for size.  She's 19 lbs, 7 oz (25th percentile), 29.5" (bt 50-75th percentile) and her head is 18 7/8"!!

Total sadness-I had a thanksgiving shirt made for her and her head is too big!

    My DD is in the 90th percentile for her head. At her 6 month appointment the doctor told me that and kind of laughed and said she had a big head. Then he said its okay he had a big head as a baby too.

    My DS2 Dylan - at his 2 year check up, he was 30% for weight, 35% height and 90% for head . . . . talk about being all over the place.

    All of my kids have big heads, but they do grow into them.

    Sounds like she's doing great :-)

    That's S too! 25th% for weight and giant head :) DH has a giant head too and he's cute.  I'm really not worried-just sad about her shirts!

    My niece had a really big head. She's very proportionate now!

     I'm sorry the shirts won't fit. Is there anyway you can install snaps so that the neck hole could be temporarily bigger? I am not a seamstress, so I couldn't do that. I just know a lot of Ro's shirts have snaps in the collar so you can widen the opening to fit over the head and then snap it shut again.

    Yes, my goal for the night is to  figure out how to cut it.  I can't sew so we'll see what happens.

    I know, but it can be a quick fix. You can also cut along the shoulder seam and then put snaps or even buttons if that is easier. DD has a ton of shirts with those.

    My DD has a big head too.  18 inches...  She cries when I put shirts on and off of her.....

    I can't believe your LO is 1 already!!!  These PAL babies age faster than the regular ones, I swear.  Wink
