update: I love ya and your dust!

I just got a call from my mom. The cardiologist came through this morning and reviewed my dad's info from previous visits (w/ his regular cardi) and from the strips yesterday. His heart is still beating w/ an irregular pattern, but not so much that the cardiologist wants to do a pacemaker. He is putting my dad on a different medication and then they are going to continue to monitor him through out the day and possibly over night.
