Success after IF

recommend your baby bath

I don't like the fisher price tub we have.  It has the sling insert but the girls are getting too big for it.  Otherwise its just a big deep tub - there's no incline.  I had just been bathing them in the kitchen sink but they are getting too long for that.

I definitely want something I don't have to put inside my bathtub.  My knees are shot and bending down over the tub for two baths is not great.

Re: recommend your baby bath

  • we had one similar to this (but it never had a sling).  Worked great for us until he was a very sturdy sitter and we moved him directly into the big tub.

We have that exact one, and it was great!    We used it until we moved her to the big tub at around 10 months I want to say?   We had no problem with the sling  and used it until we felt comfortable with her on the infant side of the tube (the side with the incline).    Then swapped to the toddler side (with the straight back) when she could sit without slumping.

  • Thanks - it appears mine is missing the inclined part - it's like if you don't use the sling they have to be sitting...which as advanced as my girls are they aren't quite sitting at 2 mos :)

  • I have a First Years one from Target that I love! My 13 lb. DD still fits just fine in the sling, and I know your girls aren't that big yet:)

  • We had the Primo Eurobath and loved it!  I think we used it until the girls were almost a year old.  If I had a second set of hands we could even put both girls in there together once they were sitting up.

ETA:  We always used it on the kitchen counter.  There are pictures on amazon where people did put it in the tub though.

This is ours and we love it! We still use it too. DS has never been in the regular bath. It is so convenient. We bathe him on top of our double vanity/sink and I love just sliding it over one of the sinks and then drain the water out. :)
