need gift advice, nbr

My grandmother passed away in August. She was such an amazing woman, and we are going to miss her so much this holiday season. I know the holidays are going to be tough on my mom, a lot of our holiday traditions involved my grandmother, and spending time at her house.

I found this windchime. https://gifts.personalcreations.com/flowers/Memorial-Windchime-30050401?REF=PCRSRCHgoogkwd_personalized+memorial+wind+chime_b&prid=alextierb&viewpos=48&categoriesDisplayed=R_37KEEP%2cR_37MMRL%2cR_37PU30&trackingpgroup=PSYMBSL

I was thinking of getting it, wrapping it and having my sister(she lives with my parents) put it under the tree with my nieces gifts. I would just write to Jody from ?. What do you ladies think? Thoughtful, or too hard to deal with on Christmas morning?

Re: need gift advice, nbr

  • My dad passed away last November and my SIL's mom sent me a christmas memorial ornament that arrived on Christmas Eve.  It definitely made me cry but the thought behind it was so much more important to me.

So IMHO, I think it is a heartfelt, wonderful idea.
