Since Walker made his grand entrance earlier than expected, we have our first baby shower this weekend. We had registered for an Angelcare a week before his birth but seeing the previous post about a Snuza which one do you like better?
We got the Angelcare, but I didn't know about the Snuza when I registered. If I had, I think I would have gotten the Snuza. LO didn't sleep in his crib for a few months after he was home so we didn't even use the motion sensor when I probably needed it most. Instead I pretty much didn't sleep and got up a million times a night to make sure he was still breathing! The snuza just clips on to the diaper so you can use it anywhere, regardless of where your LO sleeps when he comes home.
Although, I'd say in the long run the Angelcare is probably better. Once they start wiggling around and rolling around in the crib, I can't imaging the Snuza is going to stay put. With the Angelcare, once the sensor pad is set up I don't need to worry about it.
I had purchased the Angelcare and planned to just put LO in his crib right away. Of course, that didn't happen and he slept in the Rock and Play for the first two weeks. I ordered the Snuza Go that clips on the diaper and even though I only used it for 2 weeks, it was worth it because I could get some real sleep.
Now my baby is in his crib so we are strictly usually the Angelcare. I have to say I like this monitor a lot more because you don't have to worry about dealing with the monitor during diaper changes, making sure it's clipped on far enough, etc.
We have the Angelcare and really like it. There have only been two false alarms, both because we didn't have it set right. It worked in her little bassinet and now it works great in her crib as well. The negative is that its a little bit of a pain for traveling but we've managed that fine.
I will say that for the first six weeks C was home, her reflux was so bad that she slept laying on me while I slept sitting up. Neither monitor would have worked for that situation. But now that she is able to sleep with her mattress inclined, the Angle Care is great.

I'm a huge fan of the Snuza. Details in this post from my blog...
