In more ways than one...
Back and forth between the bloodwork not looking good, the first sono not looking the greatest yesterday's sono proved me and my doctor wrong.
Tech asked me if I wanted to see "it". I asked "it?"... yes there's still a baby in there. Actually a growing baby. I would be 8 weeks yesterday and it measured 7 weeks, 4 days so it caught up vs the previous sono of being behind by 2 weeks. Heart rate was almost 170 vs the 90s. I'm still not out of the woods yet and this could turn bad at any point considering how crappy my bloodwork was but for right now, I'm unexpectedly pregnant.
I'm content for now telling DH that with all the trouble he/she is already causing me it better come out a perfect angel, cure cancer, and be a Nobel Peace Prize winner and I apparently woke DH up last night saying "ice cream... ice cream scoop". I swear that man is dreaming. I have no recollection of waking up at all last night other than when DS fussed.
Re: Consider this baby "Rocky"
what a wild ride already.....keeping you and your family in my thoughts!! thanks for the update:-)
and I now know at least 4 people who have gotten pregnant on an IUD....yikes!!!( i dont have one bc we are ttc but I know many others who do)
And you can bet on your grandma's bible I won't be getting another one. DH better plan on leavin the hospital sittin on a bag of ice along w/ me!
Out of curiosity, what IUD did you have? (I ask this as I become increasingly paranoid.)
Paragard. I thought I was doing the good thing by going hormone free (my risk for breast cancer is extremely high).

Yes... Actually I went because I noticed the strings lower than usual and had been spotting for a week when AF was due and I figured the strings being lower than usual was just causing the spotting. She removed it, said my cramping would subside - which it hasn't and the pregnancy test at the office was negative. I got a positive HPT 3 days later at home.
wow, I hope it all turns out for the best!! Keep us posted,

glad_I_got_my_tubes_tied (although the other night I had a nightmare that I had identical twin boys LOL)
LOL I think that will also be coming up in a discussion with the OB. Can they still do that if you have a vaginal birth? or is surgery?
Wow! I really hope it works out for you. Stick, baby, stick!
