Hoping I know some of you from TTC>35 and PG>35... DH and I are both 37 and this is our first baby. Julia Katherine is six weeks old. I strongly prescribe to the "whatever works" approach to parenting. I struggled with BF (bad latch and snacker) and am pumping and bottle feeding instead. I'm off work until February and slowly adjusting to a simple life at home with a newborn. Looking forward to getting to know all of you!

    Welcome! Congrats on your beautiful daughter, and what a pretty name! I also practice the "whatever works approach". BF for us was going fine until recently, but for the last 4 days I have been also exclusively pumping. DS got so used to the bottle I guess.

    Yay!  So glad you are here.  BF did not work for me at all, and I hung in there for 10 days.  I now pump and supplement with formula since we had such poor weight gain when I was BF, and my supply is nowhere close to what DD needs.

    We're all pretty drama free around here.  Some have BF, some have not.   We don't poke the bear that much on controversial topics.. unless it involves who was hotter.. Shaun Cassidy or his half-brother David.
