totally random ? - maybe tmi

okay, so this is a totally random strange question but I just have to ask if anyone has experienced this.  My DD who is a little 12 mos. has now taken to "humping" some of her larger stuffed animals.  I thought it was funny the first few times but now it's just getting quite weird.  I mean, it's not all day long or anything, but everytime she sees one her big stuffed animals, she falls on it and starts humping it.  I thought that was only something dogs did?!? :)  Isn't it a little early to be doing this?  Anyone have some insight on this?

    It's totally normal.  DD doesn't quite hump, but she'll wiggle her butt around if she's laying on a pillow or one of her large stuffed animals.  I remember one of the little girls that I used to babysit did this all the time. 

    It's a phase that they will eventually grow out of.
