Experience with CP/brain cyst found during ultrasound?

Doc just let me know today that at my ultrasound 3 weeks ago, there was a small cyst found on baby's brain. Says not to worry, but I need a repeat ultrasound. I managed to get one scheduled tomorrow.

My sequential screening tests all came back normal. Everything else looked good on the ultrasound.

If you have an experience with this, I would be grateful to hear it. TIA.

    I do not have any personally, but I have seen many other moms post about this, and at the follow-up screening the cysts would be gone.

    My first daughter had this too, it went away when we had that last ultrasound before the due date. Don't stress out like I did! It should go away, i think the doctor said that the only time they worry about it is if it is still there at the last ultrasound-but double check with the doctor! I hope your next ultrasound goes well :)

    Same thing happened to me, but they told me right away- didn't wait 3 weeks (that seems weird). I had an ultrasound the next week and it was gone. I posted about this a month or two ago and it seems it happens to a lot of people.

    they waited THREE weeks to tell you?? 

    I mean, it's clearly not that big of a problem so there's that, but still...I'd be mad they didn't tell me.

    Yeah, my doctors office sucks. Becoming more obvious with each appointment, unfortulately.

    when we went last month for our a/s they found 2 (one on each side) there were no other markers and my blood work all came back normal. I went yesterday for my follow up and they were gone!! I was a nervous wreck, even though i was told not to worry. Hope everything works out, let us know!!
